Author Sophie L. Henderson writes slow burn romcoms and steamy happily-ever-afters.

Sophie grew up in a small town in England where she found her creative voice on the stage. A devoted theatre kid throughout her teens, she went on to study drama and the journey continued when she became a high school drama teacher.

After seventeen years guiding teenagers through their creative angst, she stood at the brink of Yellowstone’s Upper Falls and realised her love affair with teaching was over. That moment inspired a career change, a move to Canada, and enrolment in her first creative writing course.

When not writing or reading, Sophie can be found talking to the hummingbirds on her balcony, attempting to keep her balance in eagle pose, planning epic Disney trips, and hiking to waterfalls.

As much as possible, she lives by the motto: trust the flow of the falls.
